Security & Safety

Solar Gard films are applied to the inside of windows and in the event of an accident can hold shattered glass in place preventing and reducing the risk of injury, whilst protecting valuables and deterring unwelcome visitors (tested according to European standards prEN 12600).

You can call along to our retail store before you decide to go ahead we will then look at your vehicle to access if the windows can be tinted. You can chat to our sales staff and fitter and pick the best options based on your needs.

All cars are tinted at our workshops where we have a properly prepared area that is clinically clean to allow proper preparation and application of the film. We computer cut all out film to ensure
a perfect fit and to speed up the process.

How long does it take?

For a full car it best to allow a day, we won’t rush any window tint.

Can I have any tint all round?

No, from the A pillar back you can have any tint, limo black if you wish. On the side windows you can only tint to a legal limit we can check the darkest you can have when you arrive. You can not tint the front windscreen at all.

Will it be safer?

Yes we use a plastic film that bonds to the glass it will help hold the glass together in an accident. It can also help by reducing the visibility into the rear thus deterring the opportunist thief.

Can I have graduated tints?

Yes we have a range of graduated tints.

Will it reduce heat in the vehicle?

Yes the reduced light transmission will reduce the internal heat build up in the vehicle.

Will it stop harmful UV?

Yes all our films block UV, not only does this stop skin damage but will also stop fading of your cars interior.
