Wheel Refurbsinement

There are two main types of
Alloy Wheel Refurbishment

This involves the semi-removal of the tyre and preparation of the face of the wheel. This process is very good for badly scuffed wheels as the damage can be filled and then painted over similar to a car body repair. Painting the wheel will not be as durable as the original finish, which is usually powder coating.

We would suggest this option if the wheels have such deep kerbing that they need filling or if you are on a tight budget and need a finish that will last
a year or so until the vehicle is sold.

Re-Painting

This process involves the removal of the tyre and removal of the old paint or powder from the wheel. Many colours and finishes of powder are available.

The wheel is then hand finished to remove any kirbing marks. However it should be noted that a "back to new" finish could be difficult as we cannot add any filler so kerb mark removal involves only smoothing out the marks. this process takes longer as the tyres have to be removed, the wheel is stripped of old paint, re-painted and the tyres are re-fitted.

Expect to leave your vehicle or wheels for 2-3 days.
